Speech Therapy Activity: Teach your child to answer to WHAT questions.

What do I need to use to conduct this activity?
You will need to make simple " WHAT " question cards and put them together as in the sample picture below.

What kind of questions can I ask my child?
You can use A4 sized papers and create 6 questions per page - just like what I have done in the picture below. Just use your creativity and try to make the answer choices funny.

What do I do next?
Print and laminate the papers first. Next cut out the 6 questions on it. Punch a hole on the top left corner of each card. Use a ring to make the collection of cards look like the sample image at the top of this post.
Sit with your child in a way where he too can see the questions cards as you read them out. After each question, flip the card over to go to the next. You can reward him for each question he gets right.
Where can I get a full set of these cards?
Members of Louis Center's Program " Parents As Therapists" can DOWNLOAD the complete set on our website. Look for the image below in our Speech Therapy Toolkit Section in a box with the heading 'Asking-Answering-Understanding Questions'.
All you need to do is to print, laminate and cut out the question cards.
