Our Kids Are In For A Surprise Soon!! An Outdoor Obstacle Course Set

Updated: May 4, 2020

We purchased this Obstacle Course Set as well as a Rock Climbing Set for our ADORABLE kids in the Center. There was a little delay in setting it up however our Contractor is available again this month... so we are on path.

I am as excited as a child and can't wait for the installation to begin.

This Set is an addition to our other Occupational Therapy Equipment . How does it help our kids?

A Recall .......

Sensory Integration Therapy:

The 7 senses : taste , smell, touch (tactile), auditory, smell, PROPRIOCEPTION and vestibular ( balance)

Well this equipment serves 1 of the 3 most important basic senses that must be corrected before the child can move on. The proprioceptive sense, highlighted in yellow at level one of the sensory pyramid

It uses all of your child’s major muscle groups in coordination and provide great proprioceptive input

Hanging by the arms or the legs stretches out the muscles and engages the joints and ligaments.

Additionally it also provides deep pressure to the muscles, which has a calming and organizing effect on the brain and nervous system.
